I mean, who wants to struggle with Diamonds in a Rectangle and Square in a Square units??

I never made a STORM AT SEA quilt - until I started using Studio 180 Design's tools.
And, quite honestly, I was still skeptical.
Me, making Diamond Rectangles and Square in a Square units?
So, I tried the Square Squared tool first - Square in a Square units are easy when the center square is precision cut (using the tool) and the side triangles (cut from squares) are bigger than they need to be. No worrying if they'll fit. Stitch, then trim the Square in a Square units with the Square Squared tool and......
PERFECT UNITS EVERY TIME!
Diamond shapes in a rectangle?
Maybe....
How will I cut that diamond shape?
And those triangles are a weird size and shape?
The Diamond Rects tool will help cut perfect diamond shapes (precision cut, just like the center square) from strips.
Cutting the side triangles is easy - the Diamond Rects tool is your guide to cut perfect and oversized triangles.
Once the Diamond Rectangle shape is sewn, it's easily trimmed to the perfect size with the Diamond Rects tool!
